I am a Boulder-based architect with over 20 years of professional experience in commercial and residential architecture, focusing on hospitality, restaurant, office, and multi-family residential design. With my Master of Architecture from CU Denver and a Degree in Psychology from Santa Clara University, I bring a unique, human-centered approach to every project I undertake. My understanding of spaces' psychological and emotional impact drives my passion for creating environments that people want to experience and inhabit.

Currently, I am a Partner and Senior Architect at Bray Architecture, where I continue to develop my craft, from concept through construction, in designing functional, inviting spaces that reflect their physical and environmental contexts.

Before joining Bray Architecture, I worked at Neoera on a small team of female architects and designers focused on office, retail, and residential design projects in Denver and Mexico City. Previously, I was a Project Architect at OZ and Studio Architecture on projects throughout Colorado, Oregon, Utah and Wisconsin. Included the Viceroy Hotel in the Snowmass Base Village and the Wencil Building, a Class-A office building in Downtown Boulder and Memory Care Assisted Living.

Brendan M. Ash

While I was born and raised in Aspen, I have called Boulder my home for over 20 years. As an active community member and mother of two, I strive to balance work and giving back to my community. I serve on the board of the Nation Charity League of Boulder County and as Chair of the Downtown Boulder Design Advisory Board. My pro-bono projects include the Vertile House, a home in Haiti for abandoned and impoverished children. The site includes two concrete masonry buildings to house, feed and educate 24 children. I want to help shape my community through design and community service to be vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable.

My education and professional experience have equipped me with the technical skills and creative vision to address complex design and construction challenges. As an experienced female architect with a background in psychology, I bring a unique perspective to design, creating spaces that foster well-being, connection, and meaningful experiences. Whether designing a functional and intimate restaurant, a collaborative, vibrant office space, or a welcoming multi-family residence, I am dedicated to creating environments that enhance the lives of those who use them.
